HellermannTyton’s PMB family of paste adhesive mounts, including the increasingly popular PMB5 (36×36 mm, for fixing cable ties of a max. width of 4.8 mm), has expanded to include two new products:
Miniature PMB 3 – 22.6×22.6 mm, for cable ties up to 4.7mm wide
Heavy duty PMB 8 – 47×50 mm, designed for ties up to 13 mm wide
The main advantage of PMB paste adhesive mounts, especially in comparison with self-adhesive ones, is the use of assembly adhesives. Selecting the right adhesive for the chosen surface ensures a strong and durable fixing solution. Furthermore, mounting adhesives cure regardless of the ambient temperature. This is crucial, because it eliminates the main disadvantage of self-adhesive mounts – falling off at low temperatures.
