Keys, spanners and nut drivers

The wide range of spanners and keys includes professional as well as basic tools by Irwin and Wiha. It consists of spanners, nut drivers and keys for all kinds of applications, from switch cabinet keys to pipe wrenches or cable keys. Irwin and Wiha tools are available in many variants with various additional features, such as insulated versions, to suit the user’s needs.

L-keys

Irwin T-handle hex keys have been created from high strength and durable chrome vanadium steel to ensure long tool life. The surface of the tool has been specially treated by an oxidation process to protect the steel from oxidation and corrosion. The ergonomic ProTouch handle design provides a comfortable and easy grip and improves torque performance. The tip of the key has been machined (milled) to guarantee a better gripping and holding of screws.

Irwin standard hex keys without handles are made of oxidised chrome vanadium steel and are sold in sets.

Wiha L-keys with key handle and L-keys with flag handle are designed for high torque transfer with small screws, especially when replacing indexable inserts on milling heads. They are made of through hardened chrome-vanadium steel, black oxidised.

Wiha L-keys with T-handle are specially designed to transfer high torque with minimal effort. They are manufactured from through hardened, chrome-vanadium steel which can be either chrome-plated or nickel plated.

Wiha L-keys with T-handle ComfortGrip are designed for easy and comfortable transmission of high torques and for effortless fastening and unfastening of rusted or stubborn screws, thanks to the integrated side drive. The ergonomic shape and soft zones of the T-handle ensure a perfect fit in the hand.

Wiha individual L-keys are made from through hardened chrome-vanadium steel. Nickel-plated, bronzed (black oxidised), chrome-plated and titanium silver versions are available. Short versions are also available. In addition, we also offer L-keys with ball end which allow working at an angle of up to 25°.

Adjustable spanners

Irwin offers two types of adjustable wrenches: adjustable wrenches with steel handle and adjustable wrenches with ProTouch grip for greater comfort when working. Both have scales in metric and imperial. A secure, scratch-free grip is ensured by their parallel jaws with smooth surfaces.

Adjustable spanner electric Wiha is a universal, insulated adjustable spanner that is suitable for work in areas of live parts up to 1,000 V AC. Continuously adjustable spanner width between 0-30 mm ensures adaptation to a wide range of applications. Its extremely smooth and parallel-acting jaws minimise damage to sensitive surfaces.

Nut drivers

Wiha nut driver with T-handle is nickel-plated and hexagonal, made of through hardened chrome-vanadium steel. It features a recess in shank to accommodate for long screws. It is ideal for transferring high torque with minimum effort.

Wiha nut driver with T-handle electric is hexagonal and made of chrome-vanadium steel, through hardened, oxidized. It has insulation moulded directly onto blade and a recess in shank to accommodate for long screws. The T-handle provides optimum balance between torque and control.

Open-end spanners

Open-end spanner Wiha is an insulated, single-sided spanner that is an excellent tool for electricians. The 15° positioned jaws allow effortless fastening even in confined working spaces. These spanners are designed for the safe installation of terminals and sleeves, conductor connections and fastening of conductor lines. They are suitable for working in areas of live parts up to 1,000 V AC.

Pipe wrenches

The IRWIN Record offers a wide range of plumbing tools that provide a superior grip. The range of pipe wrenches available includes forged Stillson pipe wrenches, quick-adjusting pipe wrenches, Leader pipe wrenches and chain pipe wrenches.

Quick-adjusting pipe wrench has a cast aluminium construction, making it 40% lighter than a standard cast iron pipe spanner. It has a quick-adjusting jaw which allows efficient adjustment with only one hand.

Stillson pipe wrenches have a solid forged handle and an one-piece unbreakable (S.G.) iron jaw.

Leader pipe wrenches have a heavy-duty frame and handle that are a one-piece ductile iron casting, guaranteed against breakage.

Chain pipe wrenches are designed for situations where access to the pipe is limited. They allow the pipe to be easily tightened or loosened with short strokes of the handle. The chain has to be looped around the pipe and locked in place, and the jaws will grip in the direction of the turn.
